I have really enjoyed the course, very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I had never sewn before so I felt I needed a lot of help. I do think the group of 8 was a bit big for beginners, I can see there is lots more for me to know and learn. I thoroughly enjoyed the course. I thought it was very well-paced and I was so pleased to have produced a cushion after just one class! I think coming home with something in the first week was a real boost. I really enjoyed sewing the tote bag and learning how to do zips and pockets on the make-up bag. I've since made several cushions and tote bags but am yet to attempt another make-up bag - but will do soon! I've had lots of compliments on the items too.
You're a very patient teacher and nothing was too much trouble for you. I will definitely book another course next year (the winter is very busy for me at work). I was wondering if you'd ever thought about running a course making children's clothes? I've got 4 and 2 year old girls and would love to attempt a pinafore or something similar.
Thanks again, it was great to have some time to devote to a new hobby. I have recommended a friend to you who has recently bought a sewing machine and wants to get started.

I really enjoyed this course, my sewing machine was just resting in the corner for over a year, I finally learned all the basic techniques to be able to sew on my own. I really liked the projects too, there arnt too many people on the course so eveyone got all the help they needed. Thank you :-)

Curtain making course

After nearly 30 years break from sewing, I felt I needed a refresher to give me back my confidence in dressmaking, I have now done two courses with Tamsin, "how to make a skirt" and "curtain making". Since joining Tamsin's Sewing Classes I have gone on to making dresses, Cushions, and Peg bags ( for Xmas). Tamsin has given me the incentive to continue a hobbie I used to love, I highly recommend any of the courses to anyone who is just starting to sew, or anyone who wants to get back into it.
