Sewing machines are available to borrow free of charge.
Our best selling course! We love nothing more than introducing people to the wonderful world of sewing.
This course is for complete beginners, even if you have never used a sewing machine before, this course will give you the confidence to work and progress onto lots of different projects.
It will enable you to progress onto the level 2 sewing, Level 1 overlocker, Level 1 Dressmaking, Level 1 applique and all the sewing seasonal crafts.
A deposit is required to secure your place.

All patterns are included in each class and a cushion pad is included for your cushion.
A list of items needed for each class will be sent to you 3 weeks beforehand.
What you will learn:
Set up your machine
Thread machine and wind bobbin properly, check straight stitch and zigzag stitch tension is correct, practice your stitches and how to reverse. Pin a cushion pattern to your fabric, cut out , learn a narrow double turned hem, sew cushion fabric pieces together, finish cushion opening, insert cushion.
Reversible Tote bag
Pin and cut your fabrics, make and attach straps, learn the bagging out method, sew your bag together.
