Curtains
No curtain making experience needed.
Tutor - Tamsin Whitmore
Learn how to make a fully lined curtains for a small window in your home (width of window no wider than 130cm) if you do not have a small window you will make a sample pair.
You will learn how to measure the window correctly, square off the fabric, add the lining and attach the header tape.
You will cut out a pair of small lined curtains in this class, learn all the skills to make a pair of curtains, you will take home one made lined curtain, one cut out curtain to duplicate at home, you will have instuctions to take away with you, you will gain the skills and knowledge to be confident to make another pair of curtains.
Your sewing level: we will expect you to be able to use a sewing machine.
Materials required: A list of items needed for this course will be sent to you 3 weeks before class.
